A tractor truck is only as good as the combination it pulls, so we match the engine, the rear axle ratio and the fifth wheel height to the trailer and the terrain rather than selling a standard unit off the shelf.

Rear axle ratio selected for your terrain — Long-haul flat roads get a tall ratio for fuel economy; hilly or mining routes get a short ratio for gradeability.
Fifth wheel height matched to the trailer — 90# or 50# JOST couplings in 2 inch or 3.5 inch, set to suit your trailer deck height.
Fuel capacity for the route — 400 L to 800 L alloy tanks, with dual tanks and a fuel heater for cold climates.
Cab comfort that keeps drivers — Air suspension seat, A/C, bunk and a fridge option on the long-haul specifications.

Tractor Truck Questions

A 371 HP unit comfortably handles 50 tonnes GCW, a 400 – 430 HP unit 60 – 70 tonnes, and a 540 HP unit up to 80 tonnes GCW on good roads.

HOWO is simpler and cheaper to service, with parts everywhere. SHACMAN with MAN axles is more refined and holds up better on very heavy or long-distance duty. We supply both and will recommend honestly.

Yes — and it is cheaper. We build both, so the fifth wheel height, the landing gear clearance and the electrical connector are matched at the factory.

We supply single units for trial orders and full container loads for fleet buyers. Mixed orders are welcome — for example one tractor truck together with trailer axles and spare parts in the same shipment. For spare parts the typical MOQ is 10 to 20 pieces.

Yes. Almost every truck in our range can be supplied in either left hand drive or right hand drive, and we build to the emission standard required by your market — Euro II, Euro III, Euro V or local equivalents.
